The Velocity download manager installer shows this agreement before it installs. It is copied here word for word. Our Terms of Use say the same in website form, and apply if the two ever differ.

Velocity PDF will get its own licence agreement, published here before it is released.

VELOCITY BY ZEMARIS - LICENCE AGREEMENT

Please read this before you install Velocity. By choosing "I accept" and installing or
using Velocity, you agree to this agreement. If you don't agree, cancel the installation.

Velocity is made and sold by Muhammad Asif, trading as Zemaris, trading as Zemaris ("Zemaris", "we",
"us"). Contact: admin@zemaris.com, website: https://zemaris.com.
This agreement is between you and Zemaris. It says the same as the Terms of Use on
https://zemaris.com/terms.html. If the two ever differ, the Terms of Use on the website apply.

1. YOUR LICENCE
- Velocity comes with a 30-day free trial with all features.
- After the trial you need a paid plan (Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime or Business) to keep
  downloading. Each plan lets you use Velocity on the number of PCs shown when you buy it.
- We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use
  Velocity on those PCs while your plan is active (for Lifetime, for as long as Velocity is
  offered). Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime plans are for personal use. Business plans are for
  use at work on the agreed number of PCs.
- Velocity and the Zemaris name and logos stay the property of Zemaris. You get a licence
  to use the software, not ownership of it.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
- Sell, rent, lend, share or give away Velocity or your licence key, or put it on a
  server for others to use.
- Remove or change copyright notices, or get around the trial or the licence check.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or take apart Velocity, except where the law allows this
  even though an agreement says otherwise.
These limits do not apply to the open-source parts listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt
(installed with Velocity). Each of those parts keeps its own licence, and nothing in this
agreement limits the rights that licence gives you.

3. LICENCE KEYS AND YOUR PCS
Your licence key is tied to the PCs you use it on. When you enter a key, Velocity checks
it and may contact our activation server to record the PC, so we can keep to the number
of PCs on your plan. To move Velocity to a new PC, email us and we'll free up a slot.

4. BUYING, RENEWING AND REFUNDS
- Orders are handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record
  for all orders. Paddle takes the payment, handles taxes and customer service questions
  about payment, and handles returns.
- Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. If you cancel, Velocity
  keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime plans are paid once.
- Not happy? Email admin@zemaris.com within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund.
  When a purchase is refunded or charged back, its licence key stops working.
- Prices and any taxes are shown at checkout.

5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Velocity is a general-purpose download tool. You alone are responsible for what you
download and how you use it. Only download things you have the right to download, and
follow the copyright laws of your country and the terms of each website you use. Don't
use Velocity to break copyright or for anything unlawful.

6. UPDATES AND INTERNET USE
Velocity may download and install updates to itself and to its video engine, so that it
keeps working well and safely. Velocity checks that each update is genuine before using it.

7. OPEN-SOURCE PARTS
Velocity includes open-source software, such as Python, yt-dlp and aria2 (aria2 is a
separate program under the GNU General Public License, version 2). If you choose it during
setup, FFmpeg is installed as a separate program from its own publisher. Each part is
covered by its own licence. Details, licence texts and where to get the source code are in
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt and the "licenses" folder, both installed with Velocity.

8. NO WARRANTY
Velocity is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied,
including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that it will work with every
website, or that it will be free of errors.

9. LIMIT OF LIABILITY
As far as the law allows, Zemaris is not liable for any indirect, incidental or
consequential damage, or for any loss of data, that comes from using Velocity. If we are
found liable anyway, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Velocity
in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in this agreement takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of your
country that cannot be taken away by an agreement.

10. ENDING THIS AGREEMENT
This agreement ends when your plan ends, or if you break it. When it ends, stop using
Velocity and uninstall it. Sections 5, 8, 9 and 12 still apply after it ends.

11. CHANGES
We may update this agreement. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep
using Velocity after a change, you accept the new version.

12. LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, unless the law of your
country says otherwise for consumers.
